Having grown up in a vibrant community, with creative minds and ample opportunity, I knew that I wanted to raise my kids in such a place. After much research, my wife Blair and I decided that Greenville was that place. Moving to the Upstate with Blair and our two children, Emma(6) and Banks(5) has been a wonderful experience and we've quickly gotten involved in the community. My wife is a speech therapist with the Greenville County school system and volunteers with my daughter's Girl Scout troop. I'm a volunteer board member on our neighborhood's HOA and have spent the last year involved with the Greer Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving periodically at Miracle Hill.
My passion for financial planning stems from a deeply personal experience. Fourteen years ago, my mother suffered a severe brain trauma at the age of 53 and has been in a care facility ever since. Neither she nor my father had prepared for such a life-altering event, and the consequences of that lack of planning have shaped our family's journey ever since. We have become well acquainted with skilled nursing facilities and the long-term care process and l've brought this experience into my planning practice.
Seeing firsthand the impact of financial
unpreparedness in the face of adversity ignited a fire in me to help others navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.
For the past four years, l've been privileged to serve as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual, primarily focusing on families and small business owners. Currently, I'm part of a team leading a high-level estate planning initiative with several prominent upstate businesses.
My approach to financial planning is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding. I believe in building strong relationships with my clients, and I take the time to truly listen to their hopes, dreams, and concerns.
I'm currently pursuing the CFP® designation, the next step in a ceaseless journey of learning. My experiences, both personal and professional, has equipped me to understand the unique needs and concerns of individuals and families here in the Upstate.
